A MILESTONE IN THE EDUCATION OF HYPNOTHERAPY

Hypnotherapy Training College Australia (HTCA) opened its doors, just on a decade ago, offering a supervised, comprehensive certified Diploma in Hypnosis and Applied Psychotherapy – endorsed and accredited by the Australian Hypnotherapists Association, Hypnotherapy Council of Australia. & Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists. Director Glynis Bretherton, having had 20 years of experience in Counselling and Clinical Hypnotherapy, could see the need for a reputable organisation that offered a comprehensive and integrated study in the field of Hypnotherapy. Within the decade HTCA continues to grow, due to an accelerated interest in the field of allied health and wellbeing. Hundreds of students have since qualified as Clinical Hypnotherapists under HTCA and are now practicing Hypnotherapy in a psychotherapy profession, as well as a complementary therapy, in professions such as: Mental Health, Counselling, Physiotherapy, Medical, Natural Therapy and Dentistry.

BECOMING A QUALIFIED CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPIST – A STUDENT’S STORY

“Completing the Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy with HTCA was the best decision I made, in order to fast track my skills in the practice of effective psychotherapy. I am currently undertaking a degree in Behavioural Sciences (Psychology) and wanted to combine Hypnotherapy as part of my studies”.

Why I incorporated Hypnotherapy in my practice

In my extensive research and experience over the past 15 years, I’ve come to learn that the subconscious mind of an individual holds many answers to emotional and physical problems. The subconscious mind is also the most effective area where the re-programming of new beliefs and patterns are best achieved and integrated. Hypnotherapy is a modality that easily accesses the subconscious mind, where one can receive answers and clear presenting problems, as well as embed new programs to boost confidence and instil healthier habits.

Hypnotherapy Training College Australia offered exactly what I was looking for in a course

When searching for courses in hypnotherapy I discovered that universities were not offering it as a subject. I then came across Hypnotherapy Training College Australia, which offered a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Applied Psychotherapy, and that I could complete alongside my studies. The training is advanced, organised and accredited, with a professional approach. This is important these days because many workshops in the market offering hypnotherapy are not supported by the hypnotherapy associations and governing bodies. HTCA ticked all the boxes for me with their curriculum, face to face workshops, flexible study approach and affordability.
It is now very clear that in my practice combining, Hypnotherapy with Neuro Linguistic Programming and Counselling is not only the perfect combination to add to any therapy, but produces successful results.
